Talking to your child at home, when you're on the road, and even when you're at the market are just few of the great opportunities to enhance language development. If you would like to learn more about simple everyday strategies, your child's speech and language pathologist will be happy to help you.
KEEPING YOUR CHILD ACTIVE
Being active is beneficial in your child's growth and development. It promotes strong bones and muscles, and also enhances cognitive and social skills. At Milestone Speech Therapy we encourage families to stay active. We also encourage you to limit your child's "screen time" to help reduce social and behavioral issues.
HEALTHY DIET
A healthy and nutritious diet during your child's early years of life is a key component in early brain development. Encourage your child and you family to eat healthy. Provide healthy snacks and drinks, and be a good role model. Don't forget to praise your child when they make healthy choices.
FAMILY
Family time is essential in your child's overall development. Spending time with your child create bonds and strengthens relationships. Quality time with family promotes love and happiness.
